Abstract

This paper presents preliminary findings considered in the research project “Collaborative Learning: Paths Rooted in the Caldense Culture”. The research approach used was the complementary method resorting to Michael Foucault’s Archeology of knowledge with the purpose of establishing emergency surfaces that reflect the existence of collaborative culture in the city of Manizales. The findings show the existence of collaborative culture that arises from the formation of industry in the region which is promoted by the principal leaders of the time collaborative and social interest.
