Abstract

This final research report offers, as a product of a theoretical and applied exploration, a teaching sequence of the contents of the subjunctive tense in Spanish4. In view of the lack of a unique explanation approach, a descriptive proposal which integrates elements of traditional, functional, structural, and contemporaneous grammar, regarding the form, functions and the diverse uses of the subjunctive mode, both, under the light of prestige forms, the real use given on a specific community, and its communicative complement in comparison to the French language is proposed. The sequence is presented in tenses and spreads out the morpho-syntactic and semantic-pragmatic levels in the CFR levels as well as in the Instituto Cervantes Curricular Plan.
