Abstract

The truth is not an immediate gift, that is why intelligence care is necessary, as well as forming a philosophical habit. There is need for a path to access knowledge, in a discursive manner, coming from sensible concrete experiences, based on contributions offered by different sciences to the contemplation of principles, always in a dialectic growth. Pedagogy is a valuable support, but also a dependant one, since it does not decide on the essence of knowledge, on the contrary, leads to it. This philosophical habit is denominated "liberal education" by H. Newman, since it finds within truth's desire, the only energy, its motivation and its justification.
