Abstract
Abstract: Innovation is a key driving force of economy and society. In recent years technology has gone from being considered as a central, and sometimes exclusive, motor to take into consideration design in all fields of innovation, and, as a consequence, in the evolution in the business models. In this paper, six key concepts for innovation are introduced, and the fundamental role of design in their management is argued.
