Abstract
This article presents a comparative assessment between some types of satisfaction grading and their relevance in evaluating Web sites. For said purpose, the highest possible amount of tests available has been traced on the Internet. Available information on each test has been collected and analyzed separately. In order to verify the validity of these tests in the evaluation of Web sites, a review of the meaning and dimensions of the term “satisfaction” in this context was carried out. It was compared to the questionnaires of the evidence found. It has been determined that the tests only partially measure dimensions of satisfaction, such as the browsing experience, cognitive performance, pleasure, privacy, security, visual appearance, technical aspects and navigation, but they do not inquire about the credibility, fairness or quality of the content or information. The article concludes that it is necessary to review the existing
evaluating instruments, or develop new tools that take into account the particularities of Web sites.
