La historia de trabajo social, elemento constitutivo de su identidad

Abstract

This article was generated from the graducation paper requirement “Foundations establishing and shaping the professional intervention in Social Work” developed as part of the investigation “State of the art of the theoretical and methodological professional Intervention in social work and the conceptualization of experiences in the Department of Antioquia between 1998 and 2008” carried out by the research group Social Intervention from the Social Work Department at Universidad de Antioquia.
The text presented below contains a series of reflections on the identity category and the history subcategory that was taken from the writings of different authors of the  region, in which they recognize its importance as a reference for the constitution of what is, what ought to be and the professional doing in order to advance in the elements that contribute to the theoretical construction of the concept of Social and Professional Intervention.
