Abstract
This text intends to create new reflections related to the emotional structure of Colombian illegal armed groups’ ex-combatant children and youngsters. The study is developed ased on the story of one of the youngsters who in this paper is referred to as ‘Santiago’. A clinical analysis is conducted on his case in order to expose some of the emotional dynamics in young ex-combatants. Finally, some considerations are presented regarding the circumstances that they have to face when it comes to social inclusion contexts. The proposal presented here is expressed under the light of analytical psychology in an attempt to prove how the fracturesin the erotic function motivate a need for acknowledgment enforced by power.
