Abstract
The septum pellucidum presents a dense vascular system that functionally can be related with the cavum septum pellucidum, possibly for anomalous increase in the permeation of plasmatic components of these vascular system, toward the prospective cavum septum during the intra-uterine life or in the initial phases of its closing and formation of macroscopic maturation at the end of the fetal period or in the initial years of the posnatal life.
