Abstract
The Yurupari complex, constituted by same name ritual and associated mythical corpus, represents one of the most relevant aspects in symbolic structure attached to eastern tukano communities based on Vaupes' region. This article analyses some implications of the complex in field; for this purpose the author takes the most representative works around Yurupari ritual. The author takes Houseman and Severi (1994) theoretical approach to ritual in order to address his analysis on analogical interpretation of Yurupari.
