Guerra y asamblea: Descubrimiento y aprendizaje de la democracia entre los Miskitus nicaragüenses (1981-1988).

Abstract

The complexity of relations between political and military repressive apparatus and revolutionary organizations based on ethnic interests, represents an ideal stage for analyzing about their hegemonic and counter-hegemonic strategies. This article deals with these strategies, in the case of Nicaraguan miskitos during the war years' between sandinistas and contras. The author approaches these conflicts using a descriptive and interpretational perspective on war.
