Abstract

The Latin American Journal of Family Studies is an international publication, which is published every six months. Its general objective is to spread the knowledge built on families, such as result of research and intervention processes and theoretical and methodological reflections with a gender perspective and recognition of diversity. Its specific objectives aim to serve as a forum for discussion, nationally and internationally, in the field of family and gender studies; stimulate new currents of thought and interpretation around this social group and participate in the debate on the changes and transformations of families in contemporary societies and social responses through public policy actions.
