Abstract

This document presents some conceptual and methodological advances on the role of the legal education in the processes of community participation in environmental matters, enshrined in the Constitution and Colombian laws, as well as, contributes to the discussion the reading that from the culture is made to the legal mechanisms of citizen participation and, from there, proposes some strategies for the empowerment, appropriation and alternative use of environmental law.
