Abstract

Abstract: Nietzsche gives keys to the contemporary debate about overcoming the system of values that guided the West culture's path. His criticism towards bourgeois liberalism, nationalisms, exacerbation of the State rule in Bismarck's empire, socialism as a historical translation of a philosophical conception of reality driving to nihilism, as well as its comparison with Christianity
as a platonism for common people and socialism as a degenerated Christianity, aims to the necessity of overcoming methaphysics on a philosophical level, to criticize a power's conception politically based on a will to domination instead of impelling to a will to creative power and the surpassing of both ontological and moral dualism. Art as an illusion, a plurality of perspectives of meaning and freeing will through aesthetically valuable aspects; in other words, Dyonisos' philosophy as a mischief, an illusion and a play, becomes a higher than "truth" value. The present
expresses nihilism through the picture of the "last man" figure and, with the death of God, the beginning of its surpassing with the announcement of the "superhuman", the creator.
