Abstract
I argue that the central thesis that David Chalmers holds in his The matrix as metaphysics is problematic because, thought it is recognized that the beliefs of people both inside and outside the matrix are true, the fact that these beliefs do not have the same foundation is overlooked I argue that these beliefs do not have the same foundation since they obey different language games. However, I suggest that this type of error can be avoided modifying Chalmers' argument in terms of language games.
