Abstract

The artist, much like the pedagogue, undramatizes the situations in which he/she is immersed, without seeing his/her labor from a position of disadvantage or sacrifice; he/she must experience it on a personal, collective and social level. The pedagogue and the artist learn being-doing knowledge, thinking critically, questioning, without ignoring what they know, they can’t hide what they have, and they can’t deny what they are. Instead, they must comprehend their experiences, the person formed for the theater, and in theater they understand society as something that transforms, that changes, and that mutates and influences these transfigurations. Referring to teachers capable of a continuous education, in which they recognize didactics, methods, schools, theories, but above all new and renovated teaching-learning perspectives. Professors that are willing to learn, research, throw away and retake every day, which are willing to let themselves be influenced by contemporary knowledge, but without denying roots, without looking down on what humanity has produced in their field of knowledge.
