Abstract

ABSTRACT: The osteochondromatosis is an infrequent disease in dogs. It occurs in young growing animals mainly engaging the vertebrae, ribs, long bones, feet and pelvis. Clinical signs depend on the location of the exostosis, ranging from claudication to severe neurological signs. The case of a 3 month-old mixed race puppy treated at the Veterinary Hospital of the Universidad de Caldas is described, which presented multiple exostosis along the thoracic and lumbar spinal cord.
