Abstract
ABSTRACT: The femur head fracture is a common injury in dogs and cats, mainly associated with traumatic events, but occasionally this type of fracture is detected in adult cats, usually obese and without history of trauma, that the literature reports as spontaneous femoral head fracture associated to dysplasia of the metaphysis. The aim of this paper is to discuss two cases taken care by the authors, their diagnosis, treatment and evolution.
