Resumen
El concepto de supremacía de la Constitución es hoy el elemento esencial del constitucionalismo contemporáneo, el cual es resultado de importantes evoluciones en el tiempo y se ha visto reforzado en muchos países con la creación del control de constitucionalidad. Sin embargo, esta noción tiene contenidos variables en función de cada tradición y de cada
sistema jurídico, de manera que no es una cuestión resuelta. Un análisis desde el derecho comparado permite abarcar la supremacía de la Constitución desde ópticas diversas y estudiar sus diferentes elementos para darle un contorno más certero a esta. Específicamente, este artículo hace un análisis jurisprudencial que permite establecer las aracterísticas
propias de este concepto en diferentes sistemas jurídicos y mostrar su actualidad e importancia.
