Ciencias sociales y mundo de la vida

Abstract

While trying to offer some phenomenological foundations for the study and understanding of social phenomena, it is necessary to retake the notion of lifeworld (Lebenswelt), involving a return to the world such as it occurs in human experience, which gives it meaning. This world serves as the foundation of science and allows for the recovery of the subject, in a philosophical sense. However, this is not a solipsist conception of the subject, since it recognizes the need to consider intersubjectivity as a key to understanding the notion of objectivity in social sciences. In this sense, the text social science and the lifeworld, intends to offer some theoretical foundations for social sciences, also wants to propose a way in which the subjectivity and objectivity in these sciences can be understood.
