Abstract

This article aims to identify the source of legitimacy and the manifestations of private authority in international and transnational law. For this purpose, the justification of that authority is investigated as well as which entities articulate it, and the theoretical answers that seek to explain it from the International and the Transnational Law as a governance phenomenon.
