Abstract
This research was carried out during and 2001. The object taken this study was the group of who work at the hospital of Caldas, Children Hospital and Santa Sofia General Hospital. The aim the research was to identify the of health of this group of professionals. To find out it, the researchers used the Marjorie Gordon’s health functional standard. At the same time, the purpose of the investigation is to outline prevention and promotion health programs to institutions that hire people and the ANEC, (nursing national association of Colombia) according to the results found in the study to improve working life quality of the nursing group already mentioned.
