Abstract
The neoliberalism as an economic current, appliet to a global level, has appeared as an economic model establishing trade relations in all the sectors of the administration of the state. The health field falls into this sector. The application of this worldwide tendency has weakened the ethical and legal nature which must orient all the political and administrative procedures adopted by organizations and institutions responsible for the benefit of the health public service, either public or private. The analysis deals with the historical revision of this model and the implications of the Law 100 of Social Security related to colombian´s health. This Law has been missapplied in its regulation and operationalization causing serious deficiencies in the final issue which must be an integral and basic assistance for all colombians that guarantee their health rigth. The citizenship coresponsability must be supports by an inmediate information and education so that people can demand the suitable fulfillment of the health demands.
