Abstract

Color polymorphism is customary in many species of fr marsupial and poison frogs. Extreme degree of manifestation is high comparatively with another groups of animals. For example in Dendrobates histrionicus (Berthold) “kokoi” frog”, where young specimens from different populations have distintive color pattern respect to adults.
