Abstract

Between 1998 and 1999 a study was carried out on the mammal community of the Río Blanco Reserve, Manizales, Caldas Department. Information about habitat use, diet, and folk knowledge of 43 mammal species in the region is included in this paper. A list of 23 plant species consumed by mammals in this zone is also presented.
