Abstract
This text highlights some ideas of the research work ¨The Atmosphere of the Senses in the Theatrical Art¨ carried out as a Scenic Arts Master’s Thesis at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. Some considerations which generated new questionings about the theatrical art are predominant in this article. Three areas are worked as structure: 1) the creative process, 2) the senses, and 3) the creation of rich, free, open, imaginative and arbitrary atmospheres. The three areas generate a triangulation which pretends the enrichment of the actor’s work and the transformation of the audience into active beings in the theater. This work was carried out with the accompaniment of El Pont Flotant Theater Company from Valencia, Spain.
