Abstract

Through this article, a chronological journey regarding the inclusion policies in Colombia, specifically those directed to students with disABLITIES, was
carried out, beginning with the National Political Constitution and finishing with recent regulations. This with the purpose of informing educational and
social institutions regarding their approach, as well as generating discussion about the transformation of language and projections regarding this topic, in special because of the incorporation of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This documentary review is expected to promote the monitoring of regulations in real contexts since, in addition to describing the main contributions, relevant aspects are identified regarding the target populations.
