Abstract

The aim of this new paper is to give more lists of territorial species of Rhopalocera wich occurs in the summits of hills placed in north slopes from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Central Cordillera (west and east slopes), western slopes of West Cordillera and eastern slopes of East Cordillera. The hipotesis of SHIELDS (1967) made in USA mountains were confirmed in colombian environments. Furthemore a study of species that living in the Bosque de Bavaria, Villavicencio, Meta are listed on the basis of captures, taxonomic identity, spatial distribution and trophic guilds.
