Abstract

Some comments over the mimicry of the neotropical mantid Phyllovates brevicornis Stal, 1877, from central Colombia are presented in this paper, together with the immature stages of the species Vates biplagiata Sjöstedt, 1930 observed in the eastern slopes of the country.
