Abstract
Although the entry into force of the Organic Administrative Code represented a step forward for the Ecuadorian Administrative Law, in general, and to safeguard the legal security of the administered, in particular. On the other hand, from the academic field, one could conceive the idea that this event also contributed to the development of new publications around different elements and procedures that were not within the spectrum of legal researchers before. In this context, this article aimed to provide a bibliometric analysis of the literature on Ecuadorian Administrative Law, from the entry into force of this regulation in 2018 until the end of 2022. To this end, a performance analysis from the academic articles provided from a search in Redalyc, Scielo and Google academic was carried out. The results show that, although publications in this Branch of law were not numerous in the period analyzed, a growing production of works on this subject can be noted. In addition, the publications made during this period did not have a great impact on the scientific community. Regarding the main academic concerns within the field of Ecuadorian Administrative Law, it is evident that the study of administrative procedure has been the preferred theme. It is concluded that the development of administrative law is a key factor for Ecuadorian society and represents numerous lines of research that are currently not only in full development, but also have the potential to grow.
